our cat got a condition called feline acne last year and we took her to the vet. our vet told us that it was a condition in most cats that lasts the rest of their life, but with constant medication it could be kept under control. so we began giving her pills twice a day. she hates pills, and she started not coming when we called her. it was heartbreaking to me. she is ten now, and she's always come when we call her. i began looking on-line and i found a site where a lady said she had used bach rescue cream on her cat's acne and it had cleared up. we have been using bach for years, but i hadn't thought to put it on my cat. sure enough it cleared up. now, i guess i didn't learn enough from this first experience because our cat got another skin condition. she was literally pulling out all the fur on her sides. there was no irritation and the vet couldn't determine what was causing it. she was also starting to show signs of arthritis, so we put her on cortizone shots. that is supposed to be the best cure for both of these things. she got a shot every six weeks. we took her three times. she was starting to seem sick to us. she was losing weight and drinking a lot of water. we took her back to the vet and they told us the cortizone had given her diabetes. she was very lucky that in her case it was temporary, or transient diabetes. some cats aren't so lucky. we no longer cared about her pulling her fur. we didn't want to give her anything else. we went home and put bach cream on her two and three times a day. she is all better now. i even think it was good for her temperment. she smells it now when i use it on other things. and i've learned now. i've used it quite succesfully on another of my cats who had a bad wound. and he is fine now too. thank you so much. you have made another couple people and a few cats very, very grateful. I just wanted to let you know that Rescue Remedy has been a great help for my dog Shelby . A sensitive blue heeler mix was getting worse with every thunderstorm. Now, I give her a drop or 2 of Rescue Remedy and she is much calmer without acting "drugged". We all get more sleep on rainy nights now. Thanks.

I have been using Rescue remedy cream for the last 18 months to combat eczema after finding it to be the ONLY effective thing. I have used every type of steriod cream with no success and recently tried Protopic with no result. I discovered Rescue remedy cream in England and have continued to use it back in Australia . Recently I have found different tubes of the cream to be of a thicker consistency and no where near as effective. The packaging is slightly different between the tubes with the word "Bach" being larger on the tubes with the better thinner formula. I see that you changed the formula in August last year. Is the tube with the smaller writing the new formula? If so I am in big trouble. Help !!!

A friend from germany has sent me a bach flower remedy containing centuary, larch and pine. From their descriptions they se4em completely appropriate. having read the list of flower essences and their applications I can associate my condition with several more. I have administered one dose toda and already believe that I am regaining some of my opinions. I will not here go into any further detail, but perhaps you would be interested to hear how I progress. A long time ago, when my father died a friendly homeopath prescribed star of bethlehem . It must have helped but life was so much about rearing young children that there was no time for self analysis.

I was introduced to Rescue Remedy by my daughter in law and it has taken away all my fear of flying. Previously I couldn't get onto a plane without a few drinks at the bar, but with Rescue Remedy I am completely relaxed and have no problems. My husband couldn't believe the change in me when we flew to Morocco recently. The bach flower essences from my experionce have worked tremendasly well for me and all of my family and many other close friends for many years. No matter the age or condishion of the person being treated there has been some recovery. I would recommend this treatment to any one. In my experionce i have seen the flower essences work on both animals and plants, this for me proves that the flower essences rilly work. when a plant has curled up leaves and half an hour after a treatment has been given it visablily looks healther and with in days it is fully recoved. this to me proves they work. for when an inanamte object shows such a recovery in so little time it must be the bach flower essences maing it better. Try it out and see for your self it will make a big change. thank you for reading this i hope it makes you think about the flower essences in a new light because they have been my giding light for 16 years. and they will be for another 40 or more years try them and see for yourself

Thank you so much for providing this website. I was searching for other people who have tried Bach's Rescue Remedy to see if it had the same amazing effect on them as it did on me. My dentist recently recommended it to me when I told him I was overworked and overwhelmed at the office due to downsizing in our company...too many jobs...so little time. Bach's Rescue Remedy helped me to focus more on my job...it helped me prioritize my day better....if even kept me calm when my children were "flipping out" while I was preparing dinner (which I fondly call "arsenic hour". I don't know how this tincture works...it so subtle...you don't feel drowsy, lightheaded or high...it just helps you take control of your life.

I have a (now) 17year old male manx cat. the Bach flower remedies were introduced to me when I sought out an alternative treatment for a painful condition he was experiencing. This cat had never been sick, or for that matter to a vet, for 9 years of his life as a tamed down feral 'outside' cat. One can only imagine his discomfort of being transported to and examined by a stranger... He was terrified at every encounter with the first vet we used, but the condition did not abate. It finally got to where the 'western' approach was doing nothing, the visits were traumatic, and he was becoming wary of me. So I found a vet who practiced Homeopathy and western vet medicine. His first visit with us he put rescue remedy on the cat's gums and face. As I watched, his body became relaxed and he began to purr! There was no cowering, threats with extended claws, restraint, or other defensive measures taken by cat or vet. The cat never again avoided me purposely because he 'knew' we were going to the vet. AND he was eventually successfully treated for his malady. If it wasn't for the bach flower remedies, I believe he wouldn't be alive. So that's that about my wonderful old zen-state cat...

I have been using Bach remedies for 8 years as a therapist, and have had excellent results over awide range of conditions, and have discovered a system whereby some of the remedies can be read from the feet. I now use Healing Herbs remedies as I and many of the therapists in Britain are unhappy with the commercialisation of Bach, and with the rigidity of approach from the Bac h centre. After reading this book which struck a chord of truth before unknown, I searched the web for copies of Heal thyself and other books by Bach. Rescue Remedy - an amazing product. We applied two drops to the tongue of a very upset and cranky two year old. Within 5 minutes she calmed down to the point of being able to eat a good dinner. Shortly after the dinner she dropped off for an hours' nap. When she woke, she was a completely happy playful child, you would never have known she was the child from hell not one hour earlier. I have just purchased the individual 10ml bottles of the Rescue Remedy. Have not used for my kids (dogs), yet. Have used Mimulus today with my youngest (2yrs old). Have not seen any changes. Must give it time. He is very skittish when it comes to sounds. I am strongly hoping this works because I also need it for one of my other older and bigger kids. Will let you know. I took 4 drops of Rescue Remedy last night (for the 1st time) and was amazed. I felt positive results (sense of calm, sharper concentration, yet relaxed) I also slept so well and had wonderful lucid dreams--waking up refreshed for the first time in weeks. Having had "proof" of its effacacy, I am compelled to find out, and try out, more about Dr Bach's flower essences. I live in Wisconsin ; there are no local practitioners; yet I feel I've made a profound discovery and want to "do something" with it. Truly a miracle!

I use Rescue Remedy regularly not only for myself, but for my dogs as well. I especially use it on my rescue cocker spaniel, who has separation anxiety and tends to be very stressed when I leave him at the groomers. I give a few drops before and after the grooming appointment, and it seems to help him settle down. I also am going to try it after his seizure episodes to see if it helps him calm down and return to normal more quickly. I'll let you know how it goes. juslilolme@juno.com

I purchased Rescue Remedy from my vitamin specialist on 4/16. I was having difficulty dealing with the sudden, unexpected death of my husband back in January. I immediately put 4 drops on my tongue and the results were immeidate (within 1 hour). The depression that I had been suffering with, while not severe, was non the less debilitating. I can honestly say that 24 hours later I still feel quite good. I was instructed to use it at least daily for the first week or so and then only when needed. I was so pleased with the results that I intend to investigate all the essences and see which ones and I can and should incorporate into my daily life. I have been telling everyone I meet about this marvelous product.

A few weeks ago, I was introduced to Bach Flower Essences for the very first time - having tried aromatherapy oils. I had asked for something to help me with my nerves and was given Olive to take 4 times daily. To be perfectly honest, whether psychological or not, I have felt distinctly better since doing so.
